2 stars This album is typical quality pop-funk and pop-jazz album. Duke released many of similar works in 80-s,90-s and 00-s. Best name for such music is "late night pop-jazz" : soft, warm, very comfortable melodic sound with strong soul vocals (and even some hip-hop, but not too much, just as modern touch of the time).

Music there is nice, but simple, and has no even traces of progressive jazz fusion. In fact, this album is good alternative to tasteless pop-music, but hardly can attract any prog fan. Still, very professional work (even with Flora Purim on vocals in few places), could be listened as cocktail party soundtrack. My rating is 2+ (as for prog site). Should be avoided by progressive fusion purists though.
