2 stars Great song!

My knowledge regarding this band is still limited, in fact, I am only familiar with this song which is free-to-download from their website. Despite I am not keen on metal-related bands, I did not hesitate and took advantage (once again) of the internet facility, and downloaded it; my reasons were two: first because it is a band from Latin America (Venezuela) and I love supporting the music from this side of the globe, and second because of the title, I love Italian language and musical scene.

So "Nel Cerchio di Luce (there's no room for silent flames?) is a six and a half minute-song, completely instrumental which starts slow, with nice atmospheres and textures, and little by little it gradually progresses. When it reaches one minute and a half, a heavy guitar appears and the sound becomes powerful, however, it makes different changes and creates several moods. Overall the music is pretty cool, the bass sound is especially great, and the keyboard work excellent.

The song itself is great, it has incited me to discover more of their music, so I hope to get their debut album soon. However, don't really put attention to my rating, despite I like the song, I will rate it with two stars, because it is only a track, and if you know my style, then you realize I don't use to give more than two stars to 15-less minute releases. Anyway, if you can, download this song and listen to this interesting band from Venezuela.

Enjoy it!

3 stars Just a song from Venezuela........

I have to admit this band's output so far is really impressing me. This is only one free download track from their homepage and it may be a new song too. It is also an instrumental which takes in both post rock, symphonic prog, progressive metal and eclectic prog. It has an excellent sound and a great mood/atmosphere. There are some chugging guitars and a lot of half acoustic guitars too. The electric guitars plays over the acoustic stuff....... but it is really the acoustic guitars which is the real meat here. This track also has this X-factor which the output from all great bands always has. There is something here I cannot put my finger on, but which really gets my attention. Echoes is a new band and a band I have put on my "must monitor" list. This is also based on their album. I cannot give one song a four star rating. But it is still worth three stars.

3 stars
