1 stars Sometimes I wonder why the heck the faraway bands comes up with album titles which makes no sense whatsoever. Drumnadrochit is a small village halfway down Loch Ness in Scotland. I have both stayed on it's campsite and been past there many times. But why the heck does a band from Mexico name their album after this idyllic village and then opens up the album with an instrumental piece called Treblinka (= a KZ camp) ? Beats me.

Loch Ness plays instrumental space rock with a lot of post rock influences. Well, this album is more or less a fully blooded post rock album. The music is entirely driven by distorted guitars. There is no vocals here and the sound is not that good either.

The quality of the material here is really poor. There is no originality in the material and hardly any drive either. The songs has titles, but they hardly means anything. In short; this is an album well worth bypassing like the road alongside Loch Ness is bypassing Drumnadrochit.
