The second in a three-disc overview of this seminal German band's output (not only as Can but in solo projects, as the third Cannibalism documents), Cannibalism 2 mostly picks up where the first left off. It includes tracks from two other collections (Unlimited Edition and the 1968 sessions collected as Delay) along with music from Landed through 1979's eponymous record.

Highlights (for me at least) include the slack funk of "Little Star of Bethlehem" and their lone hit, "I Want More". If you ask any Can purist they would probably direct you to the first Cannibalism record or one of the very early records (Monster Movie or Tago Mago) as a starting point. I say Cannibalism 2 is a fine way to get introduced to this amazing, unpredictable, even difficult band.
