4 stars Wow! No reviews for this album here? Well hot damn, let me jump right on it and provide one. It would be my pleasure!

Well, this album is fantastic! I wouldn't give it a 5 star, but damn it a 4 star is still really great! I'd even give it a 4.5 star rating if I could. It's just not a "perfect" album for me. Don't get me wrong, "perfection" in an album simply comes down to certain very subjective unique qualities and characteristics that tug on my musical "heart strings" ever so particularly. It's not Eumeria's fault ;)

Listen, I'm not going to start comparing the music here to anybody else. The vocals are great, they aren't whiny and there is some fine melody. The musicianship is top-tier. It's very modern sounding as far as progressive metal goes, by that I kind of mean it has a lot of modern "tricks" or vocabulary to put it brutely.

Any metal fan and progressive fan will thoroughly enjoy this album. It will pass by in what feels like a brisk but pleasant 46 minutes. Every subsequent listen will unleash new bits to be appreciated.

Final thought? A special album that is the only album in this band's repertoire. Relish it!

5 stars REBEL MIND is that kind of album which makes such a strong impression on every music fan at the first audition ,and the only expression you can have is-WOW!Absolutelly,this is a more than impressive album of US prog metal which has the gift to put the listener in a state of musical enchantment and fascination!Honestly,I can say that I had the same reaction only after I made the first audition for albums such as-DREAM THEATER-IMAGES AND WORDS....QUEENSRYCHE-OPERATION MINDSCIME...WATCHTOWER-CONTROL AND RESISTANCE....DALI'S DILEMA-MANIFESTO FOR FUTURISM...LEMUR VOICE-INSIGHTS....ALTURA-MERCY.....SHADOW GALLERY-CARVED IN STONE.....ZERO HOUR-TOWERS OF AVARICE....ETERNITY X-THE ADGE...Albums,which I consider to be milestone albums in prog metal!REBEL MIND is so well done, performed, produced, everything is close to perfection under all aspects!Definitelly, the first thing that "hits"your ears is the voice of the guywho sings in the band-absolutelly sensational, just perefect for this type of music!Powerful, yet melodic or agressive when necessary-a wide range of vocal expressions-absolutelly fantastic! Then .the majestic skills of the guitarists-trully fabulous technical registers, diverse and varied, plus the fantastic virtuosity of the keyboard player, the mastermind under EUMERIA-Mr Bobby Williamson,a magician of the keys!!!The rhythm section is amazing too,the drumming work is fabulous and the bass lines are killer too!!!Definitelly,a band of aces, very skilled musicians-top class!Musically speaking, the style is pure prog metal, muscled and melodic in the same time, technical but not in excess, with strong and very articulated compositions and a majestic interpretation for all the young musicians from the band!No weak track, that's rare...If I can choose, find a similar band to EUMERIA,definitelly I would choose LEMUR VOICE,and that's a compliment!!!For me,this is 5 stars album, the production of Jacob Hansen is colossal too and brings a major plus to the album! All my respect and admiration and we wait the second volume asap, please!
