4 stars And then comes Yellow, colour of joy and happiness. And indeed, that's exactly what first seconds (and the rest of the first song, as will rest of this album) brings. Also some of a cheesiness, but one have to either love or hate it after TDH's performance with their previous concept albums, the Acts (and it would be pointless to name special song that reminds me these three acts, because most of these four does). Everything is shiny and happy here, including people, but surprisingly, the album (mostly because it's so short (15 or so minutes) manages to stay interesting enough thoroughly. Such attitude wouldn't work on full length album though.

3 stars The happiest of the EPs.

Yellow is a vibrant and noticable color. In multiple cultures and esoteric practices, it resembles happiness and positivity. So as expected, this EP takes on a very kind and easy to digest sound through alternative rock.

Yellow has a very defined sound, with every track being very up-beat and cheery. Songs are very alternative rock-influenced, but instead of cheesy depressive vibes, it spreads positive messages and an accessible sound.

I can't personally find a proper stand-out here but She's Always Singing comes close, being the quintessential track of the album and a perfect representation of what the EP is all about. Three Stars, a solid release.
