4 stars This Chicago based collective opens another surprise bag here ... we are faced with a cornucopia of spacey and acid guitar leads, featuring hijacking grooves as well as hallucinated male and female vocals. The global approach often reminds me of fellow countrymen Lumerians, or German acts like Electric Orange and Weltraum ... especially when speaking of this trippy hippie-esque vibe which resembles the good old Krautrock appeal.

Ragnaraak enters with guitar feedbacks and evolves to the most agressive, more garage oriented exemplar I'd say, Can styled motoric drums serve some hypnotic approach too. The ponderous Moons is backed by fascinating swirling keyboard patterns - simple but very effective. Amon Duul (Yeti) adopted vocals come in after some time - all in all they provide an exceptional atmosphere here. The melancholic Drift represents a highlight definitely, so much empathy, featuring some irresistible organ patterns again. Nice otherwordly female vocals are included - the guitar runs wild towards the end.

Voces Mysticae finally is wonderfully meandering through space and time. I would always do prefer 36 substantial minutes instead of 72 minutes made of aimless noodling. Featuring trance impressions and motoric kraut explorations, with every minute you can smell that they aren't newcomer anymore. During live occasions, while being enlarged and embellished, this songs are able to celebrate an unforgetable show, I suppose. Great spirit - extraordinary!
