3 stars 3.5 stars for sure

Anachronos from Chile got little recognition outside their country, evn they release so far 2 albums under prog metal flag and quite good, specially the second selftitled offer from 2014. Album released on Mylodon records, really got me by surprise, really. This is the type of prog metal I can listen every day, is well played, complicated instrumentsl sections and above all a very pleasent voice coming from Ingrid Contreras who done a great job here specially on opening Vida Perfecta. Only 7 pieces here , with a total clocking around 36 min, is little to less for today standards, but better less and good then a lot and forgetable. As I said this type of prog metal I like, it remind me of those bands from early to mid 90s from prog metal zone like Conception, Ivanhoe among others only the diffrence is that here is a female vocalist. Also DT is present around Awake era or with italians from Loreweaver.. All in all a good towards great release, I really like this one. 3.5 stars for sure. Very nice the guitar meet keybords parts
