WITHER

Wow, how good can be this band? I loved the first album and this one is even better. The vocals are deep and powerful, the atmospheres are haunting and the musicianship is top notch. It is also very reminiscent of the early Opeth, which to me is an extremely good thing. First and last tracks are my favourites but there really are no weak tracks here. I notice that their third album, The Deviant (2020) which is of similar quality of this one is missing in Progarchives, and I personally think that this band should have more recognition in this site. This album is a five star effort and is recommended to all fans of progressive rock and melodic death metal.
