4 stars I think this album deserves a review. It is a very obscure, but brilliant and inspired piano album. The album cover already drew me in , and the music kept me in. Trust me, it is beautiful and probably the best musicianship of wakeman since Criminal Record. I listen to this very often when I drive. Melodies are played with piano, chords are played with piano, bass is played with piano, everything actually. The piano playing is very elegant and has little to no agression (no Emerson-style playing), so you may consider that before buying it if it is for you or not.

PS : Allmusicguide gave this 4.5 stars out of five

My Grade : B-

4 stars What a gem!!! It's 12 almost classical piano peices. RICK WAKEMAN manages to keep the balance between serious composition work and lighteness of the music. It may sounds a bit easy-listening to those who prefer classical to rock music and too classical to those who favour rock.

The compositions are excellent and the soud is very good. The mood mostly melancholic and the pace is slow. One of WAKEMAN's best efforts in classical vein.
