4 stars Great inorganic movements rolling and undulating with mysteriously pleasant sensation. GRUMBLING FUR's debut album "Furrier", with a dark sleeve of someone's back view like a Japanese Ghost, would exactly take over the dark side of conventional Krautrock I guess. As if they looked through our inner depressive appearance ... they make an assault on our ears directly and stuff a bunch of tough sounds without any mercy. A dark psychedelic rock freak should get immersed in their black magic.

Their sound generation can be felt simple but systematic. Mainly electronic vibes drenched in discordant melody lines and depressive / winding percussion are mystically addictive for us. every unexpected alteration or dissected ambiance are too ambivalent for us to understand quickly and smoothly. The latter half upon the A Side of this album (lp) is pretty interesting, based upon cool, a tad danceable (of course each phrase is too unsteady and distorted to dance well lol) percussion sounds. On the contrary, another suite innovation hailing from "Bears Wandering Into Milky Chapel" (The B Side of this lp) would be called as the masterpiece(s) of this album, where such a horror is discussed along complicated but comprehensive footprints expressed with electronic roars and deep, lazy drumming. A battle of fear, let me shout.

No astonishing sound revolution can be heard but we can obviously find some dark, muddled innovation in this stuff. Black Magic Fur.
