4 stars This is a very strong debut realise and shows full potential of the band. During the years they have become one of the most important representations of the German melodic prog metal scene...and Symbiosis was just the beginning. Amazing guitar work is band's trademark since their start and this album is no exception. Keyboards are mainly background instrument but well used... A production should have been better but that's the only weak point of the album because song writing covers it in full.

2 stars The first album of the German proggers is not as good as the following albums.Although you can hear that they are an inspired and technically skilled band,their first album is not as prog as the following ones.It is rather a heavy/power disc with a few prog elements than a progressive metal album.Quite good for the collectors of the band but not fot a demanding proghead. 2.5 stars...
