3 stars Well, let's see: Mr. Steve Walsh, the voice of american hard-prog legends Kansas, recruits strong vocalists to reinforce that particular area for this solo effort. The result is nothing short of spectacular: the towering choral arrangements keep coming and blowing in your face from the very beginning, and some more subtle harmonies & counterpoints does the same, as well.

Where's the "but" you can feel coming in any moment? This is still an AOR recording, with the rhythmic section resolving their parts in very impressive, energic and dynamic way, but even so eluding any commitment with the complexity typical of Prog-Rock.

Excellent, as a set of finely arranged and played rock songs.
