3 stars "Introduced by Pupilla"

Tommy (Introduced by Pupilla) is an excerpt from Eruption. The latter occupies the whole second side of the Moving Waves album. It was hardly an obvious choice for a single, but it actually works rather well outside of its original context. It is not as memorable as other songs that Focus put out as singles (like House of the King, Sylvia, etc.), but it is nonetheless a decent piece. Tommy later appeared on the compilation album Hocus Pocus: Best of Focus in this edited form.

The B-side of the single (or is this considered a "double A-side"?) is Focus II, also taken from Moving Waves. This is an excellent track, and much stronger than Tommy.

Since most people will probably already have the Moving Waves album, this single offers little over and above what you already have. Though, it is somewhat interesting for a big Focus fan like me to hear the single edits.
