3 stars Not my favourite one from the recent albums, but a very good though. It contains orchestrated epic FASSADE split into 3 parts, "Warum so Tief" in 6/8 (originally lpretty long track, I wonder what's wrong with timing in tracklist here),unusually heavy "Liebesspiel" , mellow "Senses" and a highlight of the whole album - "Den Morgen Danach" , awesome song in typical LACRIMOSA vein. Personally I see no point why LACRIMOSA is here...I like them but they are NOT Prog Metal !!!

3 stars Another fine album by this german band. I don't quite understand why Lacrimosa is a prog band, but anyway if is here and i know some of their albums, why not a review. So the music is highly symphonic with metal elements, but not a metal album. Some of the pieces are stunning like Der Morgen Danach (the morning after), awesome song, and Stumme Worte (silent words) the highlits from here, but also the rest are good. The title album Fassade (facade) is divided in 3 parts with some of the finest symphonic arragements Lacrimosa ever done. The main man of the band Tilo Wolff along with his muse Anne Nurmi helped by a bunch of great musicians like AC (ex Running Wild) and Jay P bass did a great job delivering smooth but in the same time symhonic music of the highest calibre. Again Wolff like on some of the previouses albums worked with a simphonic orchestra. This time the orchestra is from Babelsberg, Germany who contribute a lot to the sound of this album. So, no doubt a good album with many high lights, but i prefer Inferno from 1995, witch i find to be their best so far. 3 stars, still recommended to listen from time to time if you want someting special and intristing in same time.
