4 stars Here is my review of ''Invisible Documents''..CD1 opens with ''Invisible Documents'',20 minutes long. The first few minutes is some instrumental doodling, with some free-jazz and sax work.A 5 minute drum solo is featured.7 minutes into the song, the music kicks in,with a drums/violin/bass guitar jam,and 11 minutes into the song, some acid-rock guitar comes into play, and there is a bit of singing as well. The last 13 minutes of the song sounds more like an improvisational jazz-rock jam.Next up is the almost 32 minute song ''Minaret'',which sounds more like a world music jam during the first 19 minutes of the song. The last 13 minutes of the song,it becomes a jazz-rock,with world music and funk influences, jam. There are a few bits of free-jazz as well. The guitar work does not sound as audible.CD2 starts off with the 39 minute song ''Singing'',which is a bunch of jamming, with jazz-rock,world music, and funk influencesThere are bits of soloing from time to time, but not too much. This song also has some improvisational vibes to it."Riad''(9:12)is an acoustic guitar solo throughout, with some flute work coming into play at 4 minutes into the song, and continuing on(or what sounds like flute playing).''Shine of Walt Dickerson''(13:28)is a marimba solo during the first 6 minutes of the song. Then, some guitar plucking and sax work comes in,with some free-jazz bits as well.I got this through mail order in mid-04 for US$25,and i cannot say i was dissapointed.Out of 5 stars,I give this 3.75
