LA MÉTAMORPHOSE

Really good MIDI workstation prog by a keyboardist/composer named Arseni Ershov from Minsk, Belarus. There's a lot of sample instrument emulation and I have to keep myself from getting too nitpicky about the accuracy of timbres and articulation and that kind of thing. But there's a lot to enjoy here if you favor a certain dark-flavored, tense drama in your keyboard-heavy prog orchestrations. I'm reminded at various times of Present and the manic parts of VdGG's "A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers." Ershov has about 20 releases on Bandcamp and if even a portion of them is this good then it's well worth exploring.
