4 stars No cause to rue the shadowy goo There is a discernible trace of Captain Beefheart in much of this record but thankfully it is the more palatable mannerisms that Guru Guru have drawn from as a source of inspiration e.g. the dyslexic funk, delta slide guitar and odd meters of Van Vliet & Co.
