Releases information

released 20 July 2014

The first track on this album is a meditation on two songs by Paul Clayton, the troubled American folksinger and folklorist, who was prominent in the folk music revival of the 1950s and 1960s, before dying by his own hand. 'Mush Toodin' gets sung & 'Spottie & Dudie' gets hinted at. Between & beyond them are riverside improvisations & mushroom tea infused synth explorations inside the spaceship/Doghouse. The remaining tracks are kalimba/low whistle duos recorded in the woods, by the river & under a bridge, in the same spirit.
