"To me this collection is very much a journey through time. A retrospective. Since the inception of The Circular Ruins I have branched into the more narrative sounds of Lammergeyer and, more recently, the grainy northern landscapes of Nunc Stans. These developments have invariably fed back into new Circular Ruins endeavours. But I like to think there is an indentity to be found in these changes, and that my work has grown organically along a natural, though perhaps meandering path. Music so often mirrors life.
