Artist statement:
"The Colors of Emptiness was originally composed for En chair et en son, a festival of international encounters between Buto dance and acousmatic music. Unfortunately, due to a disagreement with the performer who was supposed to dance to my music, this piece was never broadcast. I don't know why, but in my mind this evidence appeared, that there is a connection between silence and colors in this music, favored by electronics, and I see vintage colors of analog video: this music can take its place today in this modest tribute to Nam June Paik."
