Echolot biography
ECHOLOT is a three-man crew from Basel-City, Switzerland, founded in 2014. The band consists of Lukas Fürer on guitar, Renato Matteucci (bass) and drummer Jonathan Schmidli. Their music style can me described as a heavy, atmospheric mix of rock impacts, featuring sporadic vocals from all three members. The debut album 'I' was recorded in March 2015, released one year later as LP, compact cassette and digital download. It offers a captivating blend of stoner and space rock while showing a proper prog orgin, comparable to Samsara Blues Experiment, Lüger, The Egocentrics and similar.
