Origens biography
Founded in Maceió, Brazil in 2015

The band as founded by bassist Alessandro Mendonça "ARU" who gathered members of several bands from the Alagoan rock music scene who directly influenced his music training and who participated in the recording of "Origens" in 2016. Allesandro joined the band MOPHO in 1997 with his unique style of high octane playing inspired by John Paul Jones, John Entwistle, and Jack Bruce. Alessandro composed the songs for "Origens" as the production fo the songs is the result of the organic side of the band through jam sessions. The music is a nice and clever mixture of heavy prog and psychedelic rock, with a strong 70's feel. Their compositions, varying from long evolving suites to short tracks, offer different atmospheres and displays various seventies heavy rock classic influences such as URIAH HEE, DEEP PURPLE, LED ZEP AND BLACK SABBATH.
