Black Unicorn biography
Black Unicorn is a synth based project of J. Curtis Brown Jr., currently residing in Oakland, California. Brown has been involved in a wide variety of art related projects; music, multimedia, and writing. Brown has a B.A. in English & Creative Writing from the University of Akron and a M.F.A. in Book Art & Fiction from Mills College. He is also the Co-founder of Rubber City Noise record label and Eucarya Press.

Black Unicorn's releases have evolved and changed over the years. Some work being highly influenced from oldschool Krautrock and Berlin School artists, while other releases are more on the experimental side.
