Iris Divine biography
The band has been together since 2007. At first, it was a four-piece band, but they became a trio in 2012. The line-up is Navid Rashid (Vocals, Guitar), Brian Dobbs (Bass) and Kris Combs (Drums, Keys/Programming). The music is progressive metal with influences from heavy alternative rock. The first album "Convergence" was, in fact, a double EP with the first line-up. "Karma Sown" was the first album released in 2015. The recent album "The Static and The Noise" (2017) is more diverse and more adventurous bringing more flavors to the music. We can hear some influences from KING'S X, DEFTONES and ALICE AND CHAINS. The band is busy touring and has been opening for bands such as ORPHANED LAND, PERIPHERY and FATES WARNING.
