Il Sentiero Di Taus biography
Founded in Milan, Italy in 2011

Italian four-piece IL SENTIERO DI TAUS were formed and are based in Milan. The group delivered their debut `La Grande Perla' back in January 2013, a punchy and dirty hard-rock album with touches of indie rock. However, in the years since, modern Italian prog figurehead FABIO ZUFFANTI took notice of the band and worked on helping them realise their second release, `Macrocosmosi', released in April 2018, producing the disc and enabling them to reach further musically with progressive rock touches.

`Macrocosmosi' is a challenging concept work, considered by the band to be a kind of `rock-opera' with a mystical religious theme. Constantly song/vocal driven with frequent little instrumental bursts and colourful direction changes (as well as some lighter comical touches!) with a distinctly modern sound, it's one of the most unpredictable and eclectic Italian progressive releases so far of 2018.

In the words of their mentor Zuffanti - `Il Sentiero di Taus invoke musical images that start with symphonic prog but go further by embracing ethnic, psychedelic and hard-rock styles and much more. A true kaleidoscope of sounds that will accompany you on an imaginative journey without return.'
