Moonparticle biography
London, UK is birthplace of Niko Tsonev's brainchild, Moonparticle. Starting the project in 2017, the former Steven Wilson/Lifesigns guitarist teams up with pianist Adam Holzman, saxophonist Theo Travis, drummer Craig Blundell, violinist Samy Bishai, and vocalist Grog Lisee to create a diverse assortment of sounds and arrangements. The debut album, Hurricane Esmeralda, was recorded individually by each artists at studios in their home grounds of London, Paris, New York and Los Angeles. From upbeat pop to earthy acoustic passages to the occasional unorthodox rhythms of metallic grinds, the ensemble frequently displays their contrasting pedigree.
