MAROON(ED)

Maroon(ed) biography
A Madrid-oriented combo MAROON(ED), inspired by 60s-70s progressive rock scene like Pink Floyd, Genesis, King Crimson, David Bowie, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, or Eric Clapton, have got started when Javier PONTON (drums, percussion), Luis ACEVADO (guitars) and Manuel BERENGUER (bass) came across Javier RELLAN (voices) and Cesar ARMENTA (keyboards, guitars) in 1995. After gigging several times around Madrid, David PAVON replaced Manuel as a bassist and they recorded material for their debut album "Lewis Sandman Dick's Introspective Experiences" released in 1998 finally. In 1999, MAROON(ED) invited Javier BOOTELLO as a guitarist and began to work for the following creation. Sadly they were disbanded in 2006 but their final fantasy "The Dream Reaver" was released in 2013.
