ICSIS biography
ICSIS, from Lyon, is an unusual French post-punk noisy trio as two of the members are a drummer and a percussionist. The three are Jessica MARTIN MARESCO at percussion,
François MIGNOT at guitar and Guilhem MEIER at drums and luckily at electronics.
All the three do vocals. On their Facebook page they mentions grunge bands like Nirvana and Soundgarden as well as Radiohead and Bjork as influences.
They are signed with DUR & DOUX, an indie label, and up to end 2019 they have released only two full length albums: the debut in 2013 and the second in 2016.
ICSIS is also a technique of artificial fertility (Intracytoplasmic sperm injection). Listening to the band it doesn't seem a coincidence.
