Julius Vanderbilt biography
Julius VANDERBILT is a dynamic artist who, along with his solo works, has also founded the band THE DANDELION SET, created other musical projects under different monikers, and is also a composer, producer, DJ and owner of Fine Tune Recordings. His love of creating works with unique sound and genre combinations fits right into the sub-genre of Eclectic prog quite comfortably. He states that he loves the odd combinations like psycho-lounge, instrumental hip-hop, library music, psychedelic pop, post-rock, cosmic jazz and the works of early electronic artists. His solo music resembles different dosages of these styles combined with a backdrop of 70s style instrumental music borrowing from European electronic and British/American progressive styles to create a unique, yet engaging sound.

Lovers of adventurous instrumental prog will love this music as long as they don't mind some occasional experimental and sometimes complex music thrown in as a way to color the music. Off-kilter, yet strangely familiar, is a good way to describe it. In other words.eclectic.
