Quercunian Camerata biography
QUERCUNIAN CAMERATA Camerata was born in 1992 under "Estiva" name , with the purpose of making Rock, folk, prog cover songs. Genesis, Camel, Yes, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull etc ..
After various name changes (Dharma, Eliphas Levi) the group was established as QUERCUNIAN CAMERATA preserving two of the main musicians, Juan SULIS, guitarist and the drummer and singer Alejandro SUAREZ.
Since its start, Quercunian has worked tirelessly searching its own style. Prometeia´s project clearly reflects the maturity and stylistic approach of the band. The music is symphonic progressive rock and folk with medieval influences. The second project "Ponce" is another work in progress with 20 minutes of music.
We can hear influences from ANTHONY PHILIPPS, GENTLE GIANT and MICK OLDFIELD.
