A Swiss 'veteran' combo CYE have a long history. Founded in 1978 firstly under the moniker of RITUAL by two Cyers René TECKLENBURG (keyboards) and Marko HEINEMANN (guitars). They have changed their lineup or moniker a couple of times, whilst their first album "The Final Touch" was released in 1990 and their second "Tales" in 1994 under the moniker of CYE. In the beginning of 2020 active CYE's lineup are René, Marko, and Billy ODEN (drums).
