Glintshake biography
A Moscow-based unit GLINTSHAKE (ГШ) were founded as an avantgarde / psychedelic / postpunk project by Ekaterina SHILONOSOVA and Yevgeni GORBUNOV in 2011. Their debut ep "Freaky Man" recorded by Ekaterina and Yevgeni was released online in 2012, and soon after the release they invited Dmitry MIDBORN (bass) and Vasily NIKITIN (drums) in October 2012. OIn November 17, 2012 their first gig took place in Kazan, where Ekaterina and Yevgeni had met before starting the project. In 2013 they launched their second ep titled "Evil". Yegor SARGSYAN replaced Dmitry as a bassist in the autumn of 2013, and Alexey YEVLANOV replaced Vasily as a drummer in the beginning of 2014. Under the lineup, they released their first full-length album "Eyebones" in May 2014. In 2015 they said they had decided to withdraw from 90s alternative rock influence, stop singing in English, according to Yevgeni's words.
