Illuminated Minerva biography
Growing up as brothers and musicians, brothers Nathan and Jordon BOURGEAULT formed their first musical project with SEQUOIA. Not long after, in 2007, they reformed making a new project known as ILLUMINATED MINERVA calling Calgary, Alberta, Canada their home. Their aim as a new project was to push their musical boundaries even further. The line-up of Nathan BOURGEAULT (guitar), Jordon BOURGEAULT of VERBAL DECEPTION (drums), Matt PETTI also of VERBAL DECEPTION (bass) and Pat LAWTEY of KOBRA and THE LOTUS (guitar) soon came together. Since they are brothers and/or former bandmates, working together just came naturally. They released their debut EP "The Immaculate Deception" in 2014 and their first full-length album "Enigma Adamantine" on September 25, 2020.

The band's style is an instrumental progressive metal with heavy riffs and technical elements. The band has a captivating live show and has performed with bands like TESSERACT, INTRONAUT and CLOUDKICKER. Their music should appeal to fans of TOOL, SCALE THE SUMMIT, INTRONAUT, MASTODON and SIKTH.
