Built-in Obsolescence biography
Founded in 2010 and hailing from Riccione, Italy, BUILT-IN OBSOLESCENCE is an Post-Metal band consisting of Alex SEMPRINI (guitar, synth, vocals), Paolo SANCHI (vocals, synth), Gianmarco CIOTTI (guitar), Valerio BIAGINI (bass) and Bruno GALLI (drums).

The band released its first EP "ABEL" in 2014. The band then played several local gigs and then embarked on a European Tour in October of 2015. The band continued developing its sound exploring dark and heavy sounds and soon became a respected band in the post-metal scene. In 2018, they released their full-length debut album "Instar" which solidifies their position in progressive post-metal.

They play an alternative and atmospheric post-metal progressive style that fans of KLONE, THE ERKONAUTS, MERITHIUS, MATTER OF PLANETS, HEYOKA'S MIRROR and TRAUN should enjoy.
