Lost Peace biography
Lost Peace was formed in Bern, Switzerland in 1970 by bassist/guitarist Claudio Bischoff. Originally a straight forward rock and roll band, they would take a more experimental turn in 1971 with the arrival of pianist Willy Müller. From that point forward Müller would take on the role of primary composer. They ultimately settle into a tight, funk-laced fusion prior to the release of their first single, Suppressed, in 1974. By that point the lineup consisted of Bischoff playing bass, Ruedy Camenzind on drums, Jürg Lötscher on guitar, Tinu Heiniger on saxophone/clarinet, and Pudi Lehmann on trumpet and violin.

It would take another 3 years before the band released their only LP, Lost Peace. By that time guitar and percussion duties were taken over by Marc Küng and Marc Hellman respectively.
