Formed in 2005 and named after a song from CONVERGE's 2001 album "Jane Doe", HEAVEN IN HER ARMS is a post-metal band from Tokyo, Japan. Through the years, the band has released several demos, 6 splits, 2 EPs and 3 studio albums. They have basically kept the same line-up of musicians through their varied career: Kent AOKI (guitar, vocals), Takayuki RYUZAKI (guitar), KATSUTA (guitar), KENTARO (bass) and Hiroki "Rocky" WATANABE (drums).

They started to capture worldwide attention when a positive review of their 2017 album "White Halo" appeared on the online publication "Pitchfork". The music was described as "an amalgamation of extreme metal, post-rock and 1990s emo". This helped propel the band forward and in 2020, they were signed with Daymare Recordings in Japan, Moment of Collapse Records in Europe, and Translation Loss in North America. They have also toured with RUSSIAN CIRCLES and CELESTE in 2020 through Japan and Europe.
