Skryptor biography
SKRYPTOR is an American experimental metal supergroup from New York City, founded in 2016 and consisting of guitarist Tim GARRIGAN of the DAZZLING KILLMEN, bassist David McCLELLAND of CRAW and drummer Hank SHTEAMER of STATS. Their music is a heavier and more psychedelic development upon the experimental noise and math rock sound of their previous bands and bears similarity to TOOL, THE MARS VOLTA and "Red"-era KING CRIMSON.

Their first material was released in the form of two tracks on a March 2019 compilation by no wave/noise rock label Skin Graft Records, which also co-released the band's lone studio album "Luminous Volumes" in the same month. SKRYPTOR appears to have been mostly inactive since then.
