A UK-based act THEDEEPSTATE were founded by Ralph CARDALL (guitars, bass, synthesizers, mellotron, keyboards) and James SEDGE (drums, percussion), who have been playing music together since a year long UK and European Tour in 1995. The two progressive rock lovers inspired by bands such as 'early' Genesis, Yes, Rush, or King Crimson. James has played drums in the Matt Berry Acid Jazz Project, and Ralph is also active as a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and filmmaker. The duo released their debut album entitled "Mysinformation Highway Part 1" on April 24, 2021, followed by the second "Mysinformation Highway Part 2" on July 9 in the same year, in collaboration with a graphic designer Phil JOLLY on the artwork. THEDEEPSTATE are going to release their third album (and the world's first zombie prog concept album) entitled "The Dead Are Rising" on September 3, 2021.
