FANATISM was founded in Stockholm as a side-project by some members from the band Kungens Män, namely Gustav Nygren (guitar, vocals), Peter Erikson (synths), and Mikael Tuominen (guitar).

Instead of a deliberate space rock improv orientation the band is offering more sophisticated song oriented psychedelic material in this case, even including some proper garage rock amount. Following the debut 'The Future Past' their acclaimed follower album 'Inverted Evolution' came out in 2021.
