Odraza biography
ODRAZA are a Polish experimental black metal duo from Kraków, formed in 2009 by Konrad Wiśniewski (aka Priest) and Mateusz Maryjka (aka Stawrogin). The musicians, who both play in black metal groups Massemord and Totenmesse, share guitar duties while Stawrogin provides vocals and bass and Priest drums.

ODRAZA's debut LP, "Esperalem tkane", was released by Arachnophobia Records in 2014, featuring guest contributions from Gruzja vocalist Michał Tarasiewicz (aka Limbo) and guitarist Daniel Arendarski (aka Azar; of the Odours and Crawling Death). The band followed up the album with 2015's "Kir" EP, a live recording of a twenty-minute instrumental piece performed at Oskar Schindler's Enamel Factory, in tribute to those murdered by the Nazis at the Płaszów concentration camp in World War II.

Five years later, ODRAZA issued their sophomore, "Rzeczom", independently and via Godz ov War Productions in 2020, returning to their song-based black metal sound. In 2021, ODRAZA deviated once more on the Acedia EP, with yet another commissioned instrumental track, this time produced for the Museum of Kraków and scoring an exhibition on the societal impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

ODRAZA share similarities with Furia, Shining, Veilburner, Mgła, Pensées Nocturnes and Imperial Triumphant.
