Vertebra Atlantis biography
Formed in 2019, Vertebra Atlantis is the blackened death metal project of Italian multi-instrumentalist Gabriele Gramaglia, responsible for extreme progressive metal bands Summit, Turris Eburnea and the Clearing Path. Based in Lombardy, Gramaglia is accompanied by the bassist/vocalist known as Vrangr (of Spells of Misery) and drummer/vocalist Riccardo Nioin (of HomSelvareg and Husqwarnah). Vertebra Atlantis debuted their atmospheric, dissonant and synth-adorned style on 2021's Lustral Purge in Cerulean Bliss, released on I, Voidhanger Records.

The label compares Vertebra Atlantis to Castevet, Immolation, Emperor, StarGazer and Cosmic Putrefaction, and references to Ulcerate, Haunter, Convulsing and Zhrine are also appropriate.
