Grydgaard biography
A Danish guitarist Uffe GRYDGAARD has been inspired by lots of hard rock or progressive rock pioneers like Deep Purple, Styx, Be-Bop Deluxe, Supertramp, Manfred Manns Earth Band, Saga, Thin Lizzy, Marillion, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Yes, or Neo-Prog vanguards like Ayreon, IQ, Arena. He played the guitar for the first time at the age of fourteen and has played in various projects like a Genesis tribute band in order to gig on several stages around Copenhagen. He also studied studio techniques and equipments under an engineer / prducer giant Alan PARSONS. Uffe decided to record and play all the instruments by himself in his debut album, and completed the creation in collaboration with three singers - Damian WILSON (ex-Arena, Rick Wakeman, Threshold, Ayreon), Micheal MILLS (ex-Toehider, Star One, Ayreon) and Eric CASTIGLIA - and a co-producer Torben ENEVOLDSEN. His debut album "Secrets From The Palace" was released on September 15th, 2022.
