Å biography
Å were an Italian experimental rock trio operating in the mid-2000s. Named after the Swedish word for "stream" or "river," Å consisted of multi-instrumentalists Andrea Faccioli (of Cabeki, Einfalt and Lecrevisse), Paolo Marocchio and Stefano Roveda (also of Lecrevisse and formerly of A Classic Education). The three juggled guitar, violin, percussion, kalimba, piano, Theremin and more into an avant-garde blend of post-rock, krautrock and minimalism influences.

The trio released their sole self-titled work via Milan-based label Die Schachtel in 2006, an album which garnered references to This Heat, Larsen, Gastr del Sol, 3/4hadbeeneliminated, Luciano Cilio and Tony Conrad.
