Lunar Chamber biography
Conceived in 2018, Lunar Chamber are a North American progressive death metal project spearheaded by Tómarúm guitarist/vocalists Kyle Walburn and Brandon Iacovella. The Atlanta-based band took shape over the next two years, with the duo exchanging ideas across the ocean during Iacovella's stay in Japan, eventually settling on a technical death metal sound influenced by Lykathea Aflame, Demilich, VoidCeremony, Gorguts, Blood Incantation, Evoken and Chthe'ilist. The friends continued writing and refining their work in 2020 upon Iacovella's return to the states, and Lunar Chamber expanded into a trio with the 2021 addition of fretless bassist Thomas Campbell of Alcyone.

Lunar Chamber's debut EP, Shambhallic Vibrations, was released in 2023 via 20 Buck Spin, mastered by Gorguts' Colin Marston and mixed by Esoteric's Greg Chandler. Featuring Arlen City Massacre's Chris Tate on programming and Benighted's Kévin Paradis as session drummer, the EP detailed, in Iacovella's words, "an open-ended story about a journey east in search of enlightenment that contains elements of Buddhism, Hinduism, and spirituality/esotericism in general."
