Toria biography
Toria is an all instrumental band from Valmiera, Latvia that existed from 2008 to 2014 and immediately after forming found itself touring with various experimental metal bands like The Ocean, The Grand Astoria, Khuda and Khroma. The band released its debut EP in 2009 and then toured for several years before releasing its only full-length Octave in 2014 before breaking up shortly after.

The band's sound is characteristic of post-rock but adds the extra heft of metal music in the guitar riffs, solos, bass and drums. Unlike strictly post-metal bands, Toria exemplifies all the qualifies of an atmospheric post-rock band without letting the metal steal the thunder.
