V�LVĒ biography
V�LVĒ originated as a solo project for Chl�e Herington's (Chrome Hoof, Knifeworld, Half The Sky) compositional output. Chl�e primarily uses vocals, electronics, found sounds, saxes & bassoon. The band has morphed over time to a three piece including former Chrome Hoof bandmate Emma Sullivan (bass guitar, microkorg, trumpet, vocals) and Elen Evans (harp, voice), to a two piece, Chl�e & Emma, plus numerous guests. Originally performing as an art installation and growing into a more song based approach the music traverses ambience, noise, lo-fi, sound art, avant garde, & indie folk.
