Elicoide biography
ELICOIDE is an Italian Electronic Progressive group that released 2 albums and then disappeared from the scene. It was the project of keyboardist Franco Nanni with assistance from Paolo Grandi on double bass.

The self titled debut album was released in 1987 with just Nanni and Grandi being involved. However over time the band developed into a stronger unit and in 1990 ELICOIDE released "L'Angelo Dei Numeri" featuring the talents of Paolo Grandi on Bass, Contrabass, Cello, Luca Pappalardo on Flute, Franco Nanni on Synth, Accordion, and Antonella Lalli as a Voice.

Franco Nanni became a reputable psychiatrist and the band have not made an appearance or released an album since the early 90s.

ELICOIDE will appeal to fans of electronic prog with a heavy emphasis on synthesizer driven rock.
