Bella & Putana biography
Well, first of all, BELLA & PUTANA is a very experimental band, looking for new ways to do prog, specially the hard one. With a strong influence from John Zorn in the vocals part, this band has a unique sound which mixes melodic voice and screams along the whole album, searching for that what makes prog - the quest for a new sound. Also, one of the members, Sebastián Lekanda is the member of Autómata.

This musical project, one of the most interesting in the last time, suffered a lot of modification in its line-up, always trying to find new sounds, melodies and textures, but always with a rock base. In this constant 'spirit inquiry' which had made this band to try a lot of people, especially in the vocal part, they formed reality shows with contributions by Rodrígo Pera Cuadra, known for Dorso, also María José Levine (Ex Upa, Golosina Canibal, etc.) and Saa Ugarte (ex Venus). For working out the album Kamikazzo Javiera Gonzáles is leading the vocals.

After this release, which mixes modern and dynamic atmospheres, going through the classic rock from the 70's and 80's, even melodic and experimental rock from the 90's, the band disbanded, letting an empty space in the experimental ambient in Chile.
