2 stars I have to say that the tracklist I got from his website differ from the tracklist here. There is a two minute song called Amina before the Intro and the Intro sounds like it was taken from Anima and shortened. Also Questo Mi Disse il Nord is 14:08 minutes as opposed to the 4:37 shown here. There are also minor differences in the times of all the other tracks with them being only a second or two difference than what is shown here.

Anyway, on with the review. The music here does not really ever get interesting for me at all. The vocals also tend to get on my nerves if they go on for a long time. Questo Mi Disse Il Nord is probably my least favorite track on account of it being way to long for my tastes. I wish it had been the four minutes as shown here. The only track that i can say I enjoy (to an extent) is Il Principio Del Cerchio. It has a very nice mix between some actually pretty heavy moments with the bass drums, kicking in to overdrive, and some nice meaty guitar. Crisalide is much slowier overall even though it does get into high gear a couple of times, and it does have a decent guitar solo, but I still do not like waiting through the first part of the song to get to the part I like. The rest of the songs do not strike my fancy with Notturno having the most annoying singing off this album, and Sara La Sera being boring to me. Me version of Questo Mi Disse Il Nord, actually turns out to be 4:37 long the rest is just silence till it goes into another recap of the song Anima which is also the Intro song but shorter. ??????? I do not know what happened with that. So my rating has nothing to do with the "first" track Anima and the silence and recap of it at the end of Questo Mi Disse Il Nord.

I do not really like this album to much. The singing is the biggest prtoblem for me with this album. It gets in the way of some of the songs being better.

Two stars.
